Our Heritage
Mauri officially came together in 2014, bringing with it a history that stretches back to the late 1800s. What began as small, family-run milling and baking businesses has grown into a trusted partner for food producers across the region. While the business has evolved, the fundamentals remain the same - a strong sense of family, care and pride in what we produce.

Working closely with local growers and using 100% Australian-grown wheat, our milling network proudly delivers consistent quality and reliable performance in key locations across every state. Our Animal Feed Mill in WA is also a key part of this network, supporting Mauri's milling operations through its strategic role in delivering quality feed solutions and supply chain reliability.

We closely monitor wheat and flour quality at every stage of the process, from grain receival through milling, bulk delivery and packing, to ensure consistent performance across our range. Every batch is tested using advanced NIR technology at each mill, measuring key attributes such as protein, moisture and ash. This rigorous, end-to-end approach ensures our products meet exacting standards and perform reliably in real baking environments.

Mauri plays a vital role in a circular food system, transforming milling by-products into high-quality animal feed that supports sustainable agriculture. GLNC is a not-for-profit company and recognised health promotion charity. As the independent authority, it’s mission is to promote grains and legumes nutrition as part of a balanced diet.
Grain Trade Australia (GTA) was formed in 1991 to formalise commodity trading standards, develop and publish the trade rules and standardise grain contracts across the Australian grain industry. GTA’s role today is to ensure the efficient facilitation of commercial activities across the grain supply chain.
